Are You Ready to Make Positive Changes to your Health?

December 8, 2018

The end of the year is the perfect time to sit down, reflect and create your goals for the upcoming year, and often our biggest resolutions are first, to get healthy, and second, and most importantly, getting it to stick!  If it’s on your list to improve your physical well-being, you’re in the right place. We are here to support you. Our office is focused on helping you create an active, healthy lifestyle through exercise and Chiropractic care. Wondering just how the Chiropractic lifestyle will help you keep your new year's resolution? Keep reading...

Chiropractic care has been shown to reduce muscle tension, improve circulation, and decrease pressure on your nerves and spinal discs - all positive changes which can help you feel more relaxed and less stressed overall.

Research has consistently shown that people under Chiropractic care have reported a higher quality of life than their counterparts, and if getting healthy and generally feeling better is part of your plan, start here. We’ll help you come up with a simple plan that fits into your current routine.

We’ll recommend exercises to help you stay active and postural tips to help you reduce fatigue, so that you are able to better enjoy your daily activities.

Now let’s get real for a second, research and quite frankly your experience as well as mine, if we are honest, teaches us that drastic changes to your habits don’t last!   What does work is to make small changes over time.  Simple things like reducing the sweets in your diet, starting some light exercise and getting your spine adjusted regularly is a great place to start.  You can always build from there.

Also, keep in mind that research continues to support chiropractic as a safe and effective method to help you reduce stress, improve mobility and reduce pain.

Research also teaches us that people who undergo regular spinal adjustments from a chiropractor report a higher quality of life than their counterparts.  And at the end of the day . . . Quality of life is what it is all about.  Right?

Awesome.  Let’s do this.  Let’s kick your new year off to a great start by making a few simple changes.  First, choose 3 days per week to do some simple exercises.  If you go to the resources page of our website you will find 3 exercise videos that you can follow, a 5 minute, a 10 minute and a 20 minute option. Second, substitute water for your favorite soft drink to help reduce inflammation and pain.

Finally, stay well-adjusted to minimize the stress on your musculoskeletal system which will help you feel better than ever. If you need help getting started, simply give us a call.

Here’s to a Happy New Year!
